Dear God,

Although today was another busy day, I had choir for from 9pm till midnight, and floor meeting until 1.30am, I am grateful to You. You are there every single second of my life, and I know it because once again, I am grateful for the brothers and sisters you have put around me, showering me with your endless blessings so to remind me that You are always here for me.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

(My parents would probably be very agitated right at this moment once they see the title xD)

It might as well be single’s awareness day for me, but i know now that i am not alone. that God walks with me every single day, whether i “feel” that He is there or not.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.~ Isaiah 41:10

This is God’s promise for us.

So for me it was just another day (with some roses and choc and cards from my sweet sweet friends!! <3) and more studying in the afternoon. Though everyone were not exactly in the mood to do so XD had a simple dinner with charlene, just like old times =)

On post-Valentine’s day, I went to this evangelistic rally in HKU main campus–”Love me If… I am nothing.”

It was a very uplifting experience, and it helped me deal with my own problems that I had been very unwilling to surrender to God. Tears couldn’t stop flowing down my cheeks when I realise how small and weak I was and why in the world would there be a God that would love me so much.

Being single has now taken a new perspective in my life. It doesn’t mean that I am not good/not attractive enough. It means that God wants me to make full use of my singleness, both to prepare for a spiritually sound relationship and also to bless those around me through service to the Lord.

Love this song SO MUCH.

God gives me so much strength and courage to plough on the next day, to remember things that I will forget a few days later and to understand biochemistry that I won’t need in my clinical years. Because I know everything is in His great plan to shape me into a person that pleases Him.

MBBS II, surgical anatomy

~surgical anatomy class. it was an interesting plastic surgery, and the surgeon had really good handiwork and all. but i think we were too pokchun for year 2 med students cause we watched the entire surgery which lasted 4 hrs (our slot was only for 1.5 hrs)

Time has been flying like it’s nobody’s business. all of a sudden CNY is over, I’m flying back to HK, and it’s less that 4 months away from summative exams. *holds breath*

Honestly i’ve never been this afraid of exams, from what seems like ages away. But time for a medical student is never, ever enough. Always more stuff to study, and even more stuff to re-revise.

sometimes I don’t know if it would be better to fast forward or pause time. Fast forward would mean i could go back malaysia sooner, but pausing time meaning i could study more.
